JACINTO ADEA RADA
June
2, 1919 – April 26, 2012
Final
Tribute Commendation
It
was on April 26, 2012 at 92 years of age when he was suddenly but lovingly
called back home by our Heavenly Father to be with Him forever.
Tatay,
Dada or Titoy, as he was fondly called by his loved ones and friends, was born
in Paracale, Camarines Norte on June 2, 1919 and settled in Manila to start
their own family after his marriage to his spouse Corazon Panotes Rada on
January 5, 1948.
He
was a caring son to his parents, now already both deceased, a loving husband to
his spouse, Nanay Azon, now also already deceased, an affectionate brother to
his deceased siblings Feliza, Diong, Fe, Esperanza and Nestor, a devoted father
to his children namely Venus Rada, Virginia and Cezar Cunanan, Vilma and
Virgilio Solleza, Raul and Tonette Martinez, and Francesca and Mike Loo. He was
a doting grandfather to his precious grandchildren namely Ivan and Ayie
Cunanan, Jazon Rada, Charis Solleza, Alexandria, Francesca Anne, Francesca
Marie, Ralph Anthony and Samantha Martinez, and Hannah Loo. He was fortunate
enough to have lived long enough to learn about the birth of his beloved great grandchildren
Justin Isaac Rada, AJ and Aiesha Cunanan, and to his deceased great grandchildren
Justice and Aaron Rada.
As
we remember Tatay, Dada or Titoy and all the love he had in his heart to give,
we bring him to his final resting place. This reminds us that all of us
Christians are raised with Christ and that Tatay, Dada or Titoy’s journey and
our own journey through life has been immeasurably strengthened by the Lord’s
triumph over death. Those who knew him and loved him dearly will surely miss
his presence in their lives.
Being
the person he was lovingly created to be – a caring son, an affectionate
brother, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, a true
friend, an extraordinarily hardworking and loyal individual who was employed at
the National Power Corporation for 34 years, also a member of the 1st
NPC Chorale performing in various TV stations and retired as the Chief of the
Reproduction and Reprographic Section of NAPOCOR, a very jolly and friendly
person who believed in clean living, always wearing his signature WHITE PANTS
and SHOES, sometimes being mistaken as a doctor, a very gallant and neighborly
individual who made friends with even drivers of padjak - means of
transportation, one who went into the buying and selling of cars after his
retirement because it was his passion to take care of cars and clean them until
they were shining bright making him very proud, one who loved watching action
and karate movies starring Bruce Lee and Shoji Karada, one who was trained at
the 7th Day Adventist school to read the Holy Bible from cover to
cover, memorizing different verses and passages, and a member of Knight of
Columbus – all these and more exhibited beyond a shadow of a doubt the essence
of his being a true and faithful servant who mirrored the love only his Creator
could give to the world, a true and
faithful servant who gave unselfishly of himself to those whose lives he
touched – a true and faithful servant of the One who welcomed him back in His
loving arms – a true and faithful servant of his Lord and Savior Our Lord Jesus
Christ.
Lastly,
may we greet Tatay, Dada or Titoy an Advance Happy 93rd Birthday on
June 2, 2012. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH… We will surely miss your presence in our
lives..
